Shareholders uneasy over $20m in loan write-offs
ALTHOUGH Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago recorded high profits for the year 2008 and the first quarter of 2009, some shareholders have expressed concern over the increased number of loan write-offs, which the bank has had to facilitate for customers who are being delinquent on their loans.
