T&T: Cervical Cancer Vaccine, Cervarix

HPV Vaccine now available in T&T

On March 6, GlaxoSmithKline announced that its cervical cancer vaccine, Cervarix, is now available in Trinidad and Tobago. "This vaccine offers strong, broad and long-lasting sustained protection against human papillomaviruses types 16 and 18, responsible for more than 70 per cent of all cervical cancers in women in a greater age range," GSK officials noted.
