It is perhaps more inconceivable and ironic that some Tobagonians, subscribe to and are overwhelmed by an obscene obsession, and champion the ridiculous notion of renaming those villages whose names were derived from former slaves estates. It must be noted that almost all of Tobago's current villages were former slave estates and bear those estates' names. Ref. Source 9
