Nighthawk Introduction - Page 3

QUOTE
As you can see, as far as the children are concerned, there is almost an even split on us getting back out west. I would prefer to find a job in AZ or Las Vegas (anywhere in Utah or Idaho would be best of all),

Wow, you seem like a busy man Nighhawlk. I have been in Arizona and I just loved it! the people, the weather, everything!. I liked Utah too. If I would move again to the USA I would like to move to California (I loved it when I was there!), Arizona or Utah.

Introduction Nighthawk

California is certainly nice, but it is not a good place to live anymore. Politically, they have chosen an extreme form of Leftist Socialism, that has driven much of the good, high-paying industry out of the state. Taxes are extremely high, business regulation is overwhelming, and worker's compensation insurance is over 5x that of neighboring states.

Not to mention the fact that the culture in California is NOT family friendly.

Nighthawk, I think LDS is thinking more on Hollywood and replacing michael Rosenbaum as the female version of lex in Smallville wink.gif In addition to the list I also think about earthquakes and the coming destruction upon the State (not to get all religious of course) laugh.gif

She wants to be in Smallville? Good. It could use some talent smile.gif

I love the area around San Luis Obispo (actually from Santa Barbara up to Monterey) which is about 5 hours north of LA and 5 hours south of San Francisco. I also love the mountains.

But I don't think a company could pay me enough to live there now. Did you know that the state is trying to find ways to prosecute anyone who tries to homeschool their own children? Honestly, the state is in the worst moral decline imaginable. And it seems to be accelerating.

From a religious perspective, I believe the dreams and visions that say the Chinese will invade the coast (they already own a major port in Long Beach). They will pillage up to the Sierras before the Lord stops them. But that is just my opinion. wink.gif

Awwww wink.gif I like the show but JB is just exagerating (even though if they call me, I will not doubt in selling everything and go for it!) . I dream with being an actress. Yes, I heard is very expensive to live in California.

What about AZ Nighhawlk? what a beautiful state!!!!. You don't have nobody in Utah that can give you work?.

Nighthawk Introduction - Page 3

We lived for 1 1/2 years in Kingman, AZ. Not a very nice place. Dirty, ugly, bad culture.

Sedona is nice, as is Prescott. But both are quite expensive. Flagstaff, the one time I drove through, looked very nice.

Phoenix is unbelievably hot. We frequently heard about temps over 120 degrees F.

I have been looking, casually, for jobs in Utah, AZ, New Mexico, Colorado, or Idaho. Nothing seems to be available.

Yes, I was there when it was winter time and I had only a t-shirt! it was great! but I heard summer time is terrible. I wish you well in your research for a new place to live. smile.gif
