Orders for long-lasting manufactured goods unexpectedly rebounded 3.4% in February, news that could bring some cheer to an economy mired in recession. It was the largest jump since Dec. 2007. Ref. USAToday
I feel that it always goes up in Feb. And March as that is when early filers of income taxes gets their returns and spends that money on durable goods that they otherwise would not be able to afford.
I have the feeling that after Feb. And March the US durable goods is going to go downhill. With unemployment still going up I think we are in for a hard turn soon.
