Prosecutors Claim Melissa Huckaby Raped, Killed 8-Year-Old Neighbor

The charges include the special circumstances of rape with a foreign object, lewd or lascivious conduct with a child under 14 and murder in the course of a kidnapping. Huckaby, a volunteer Sunday school teacher, cried today at her arraignment as the judge read the charge against her. She was scheduled to return to court April 24, when she is expected to enter a formal plea. Ref. Source 7

Well, as I suspected and posted there was a sexual connection to this crime. This beast needs to be put down of her misery: DEATH PENALTY, not other option. I don't know why they're even thinking if they would ask for it. Imagine, raping a poor little girl, murder her and then stuffing her body in a suitcase....My gosh, is just purely satanic.

That is the scary thing about these kinds of people. Thieves have a reason, even terrorists generally have reasons, but these types of sadist killers do not need a reason other than opportunity and they can. Worst of all they do not (generally) stand out so you cannot readily mark them. They can be the police officer, doctor, school teacher, parent or even Sunday School teacher.

In her case I think there is clear two motives: She is mentally unstable, possibly drug user or she is part of a pedophile ring where women molest, film, etc for pedophiles to watch.

If she is part of a pedophile ring I hope they find out who others are from her computer so they can get them off the streets too. I would like to have a few hours of alone time with this lady. I am sure I can have her singing like a canary.

When I heard how the little girl was found I was really sad I had like this pit in my stomach. I can't believe anyone would want to hurt an innocent child.

I wish there were more details on this case. The police searched the Church were the accused taught Sunday School as well as search her house for a second time. She did not give a motive for the killing which makes me suspect she probably confessed the crime. The police believes she acted alone.

Let's not forget that before this woman was arrested the FBI was investigating a suspect that admitted he kissed little Sandra on her mouth two years ago when she was only 6 years old. Yes, this child was NOT being supervised, it is reported she would go door by door knocking into her neighbors's homes to play with children WITHOUT any sort of supervision.

Terrible, irresponsible and almost if I dare say... In small part 'assisted' the killer in the act by their lack of overseeing their daughter. This is something I just cannot comprehend.
