My daughter is sick, violently ill last night. She has no other symptoms, but it's a little freaky. I'll keep her home today, and stay with her myself rather than have my parents care for her -- just in case. Hopefully, it's just a little 24-hour stomach bug.

Yes it sounds like she has got a nasty stomach bug that has been running around. One of my sons had this the other day and he was fine after about 12 hours.

It is the closing of the flue season so I am sure things will go quiet till fall. I hope you so is feeling better soon though farseer.

If this is a serious bug I expect we see many times the reported cases this fall. though they will have some shot by then in the general flue shots I am sure. Only thing is that it will have mutated by then into soemthing worse.
