El Papa Proclamo Cinco Nuevos Santos

CIUDAD DEL VATICANO (ANSA)-. El papa Benedicto XVI proclamó hoy cinco nuevos santos, cuatro religiosos italianos y un heroe nacional portugues, e indicó a algunos de ellos como un ejemplo etico en la actual "grave crisis económica" mundial.

La ceremonia de canonización tuvo lugar esta mañana en la plaza de San Pedro del Vaticano, antes miles de devotos llegados de Portugal y de Italia.

Los nuevos santos son tres hombres y dos mujeres.
