Supermarket Prices,Trinidad Food Prices Manning's price buster on food prices did not work. Now will the current government's removal of VAT on most food items help any? Seems to be not the case.

I think the prices at the supermarket is ridiculas, very soon people would not be able to shop they will eventually have to go back to batter.

Come on, who do you think you are fooling, at least not me. Supermarkets have been raising prices by $2, $5, and $10 leaps and then when they 'reduce' prices they do so by $0.25, and $0.50 and call that a reduction on prices?

I was happy to hear on TV6 that the recommended price for eggs will go down to $11-$12 depending on the size per dozen.
