There's quite a few things with this allegation that are more than 'sketchy', for one thing she can't remember it happening.

I'm not saying that the pilot's not guilty, I wouldn't know, but the evidence does seem to be very lacking, and in the meantime the pilot has lost his job through it.

I sincerely hope that the girl is being genuine, and not thrashing allegations on somebody who is innocent.

I find it sad that a pilot has lost his job over these alligations. I think the girl made the whole thing up because he did not respond to a pass she made towards him. The fact that there is a whole lot of missing evidence and she can not really remember it happening speaks volumes.

It is the society that we live in today that men have to fear a lady because she may make a false claim against him and then his life is ruined. I feel for the pilot and the torment his family has gone through now because of the actions and false accusation of this lady.

Of course he responded:

The pilot's lawyer, John Haigh, QC, suggested the sex had been consensual but the woman later regretted it and made up her memory loss as an excuse. She denied this.

So there was sex. The issue now is if it was r-pe. I think is pretty understandable if they were drinking that she may not recall it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
