Obama Sticks to Pro-Abortion Campaign Themes After Bad Debate
Apparently President Barack Obama and his campaign believe the best way to recover from a poor debate performance against Mitt Romney is to rally the entire campaign behind the issue of abortion.
Not only did Obama tout abortion at a campaign event in Virginia today, but virtually every speaker at the event made abortion promotion the centerpiece of their message as the talked to a less-sizable-than-desired crowd. Pro-Abortion President Barack Obama Defeats Mitt Romney
In a disappointing night for pro-life advocates, pro-abortion President Barack Obama defeated pro-life candidate Mitt Romney in the race for president.
The results make it increasingly difficult that Americans will be able to end legalized abortion any time soon, be able to end taxpayer funding to the Planned Parenthood abortion business, or approve new pro-life legislation in Congress. The pro-life movement will need to rely on state legislatures to continue approving new limits on abortion that have helped some states cut abortions as much as 50 percent. Ref. Source 4

Anthony List. "Together, we will win this fight. Don't lose faith. Unborn children and women are counting on us." Ref. Source 7

Obama Admin Laments Losing International Abortion Battle
The Obama administration told abortion advocates last week it will not be able to push for 'sexual rights" in UN funding talks this spring because of the major setback to reproductive rights at last summer's high level UN meeting on sustainable development in Rio.
The opposition is "vocal and well-coordinated" said Beth Schlachter, a population policy advisor from the State Department speaking at a Wilson Center event titled "Setting Development Goals for Population Dynamics and Reproductive Rights." Ref. Source 6
