I was just reading that according to Bloomberg News apartments in Manhattan cost 18% less now due to a faltering economy. That is surprising and shows that not even certain economically high saturated areas are immune.

Manhattan is incredibly expensive I'm not sure how that tiny percent down would affect the market still unaffordable for most folks.
