Stop harassing our 'Independents'

I was privileged to serve as one of the seven Senate presidents who have held office in T&T since independence in 1962; and I was fortunate to have known fairly intimately the first Senate president Mr Hamilton Maurice, Dr Wahid Ali whom I succeeded, and Mr Eamon Carter who tutored me in parliamentary affairs, and then succeeded me.
