ATM Bandit Caught & Amputated

Heard this via TV6: Remember that ATM Bandit that was robbing people at a Scotia Bank Branch? Well police caught him and when he was told to surrender he was brazen enough to whip out a knife and threaten them. He was then shot in the leg. Doctors at the San Fernando Hospital said that the Bandit's knee was so badly damaged that they had to amputate it. Looks like his robbing days are permanently over. Poetic justice?
