Yeah children can learn things from the internet, cartoons that are adult in nature, Tv shows and even movies and video games. This is why none of my kids had any of these type games until they were teens. Even then there are some games I would not let them get. It is the parents responsibility to make sure they know what their children are doing on the internet, in games and what they watch on tv.
These two boys learned these actions from somewhere. The big question is where?
