Putin wins 6 more years in power, exit polls show
Vladimir Putin is set to extend his power in Russia for another six years after winning Sunday's presidential election with the majority of the vote, exit polls show.
Putin was widely expected to win his fourth term as President, with no meaningful opposition in the running and his fiercest opponent, Alexei Navalny, barred from the race.
Exit polls are not final, and official results will be released in coming hours. Ref. CNN.
This is the beginning of the nightmare if those exit polls are correct. Do the Russians really like Putin that much?

Every electon, Putin has manipulated and modified and cajoled his way into power. From mysterious opposition deaths, to shell game substitution of VP to President, he has played the game to keep the reigns of power firmly in his hands.
Or can it be that the Russian people really like Putin. He has taken them out of a deep depression and made then a force to be reckoned with on the world stage. Not that they weren't that way before but everyone always saw the Russians as struggling to keep up but that seems to be changing.

Oh they love him for sure. There is a fraction of Russia that doesn't but they are not as much as those who want to see the old Russia come back or stay in a disguised form.
