I'm not feeling very well today, you might not see much if any activity. If the Dungeon Master or perhaps another player might take control of my character's actions and rolls until tomorrow, that would be appreciated. I don't want campaigns to hit a snag just cuz I'm not there.

It was a good thing I was able to reactivate my phone, but I just wanted to let everyone know that my laptop screen has finally given out. The short in the screen with me messing with it time and again to getting it working has finally broke it fully.

Thankfully, this weekend I am going to see about getting a desktop up and running that I'd be able to use when I'm at home. Maybe at some point I can see about getting a new screen or finding a way to at least transfer all the data I have on my laptop under my desktop or external hard drive.

If I can maybe get an external screen and connect it up with the HDMI cable I got today, I can at least make do with that when using my laptop.

Hi Thomaslee sorry to hear about that. In my town we have some great used (Kijiji and facebook) sites and usually when I need a monitor they can be found for around 20-30 dollars if you do not care about size and age.

Well I could definitely give it a try, though given the fact I need to connect it with an HDMI cable the monitor wouldn't be able to be that old. I was actually surprised me to realize that my laptop couldn't take a VGA monitor cable, while the desktop didn't have a port for a HDMI cable.

I could also see about getting a VGA to HDMI Adapter Cable, that way I would technically not need a different monitor.

Find some great news, which will perhaps both negatively and positively affect my activity on here. I'll be starting a full-time schedule at Black Turtle Services this coming Monday.

It will be Monday thru Thursday and Saturday 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with each check being around a little over $820 bi-weekly if I don't miss any days or hours not any counting overtime or holidays.

I will still seek to keep up activity, at least one post a day, though the times when I can post will be more limited. The positive though is come November I should be able to donate a lot more often, which will allow me to show my support to the site.

Cool on getting the new job. With those hours you'll probably have to logon before work rather than after because you'll probably be too tired to care by 8pm. *laugh*.

Having full time job and steady work is always a good thing. It may be some getting used to but over time you will find the time to come on here and post. Take you time on figuring it out I am sure it will come together.
