I wonder at times whether this Ben Laden character is for real or is he just a character made by the media (of course with the blessings of the superpower) as a bogeyman. A fictional character. As far as I am concerned what are the solid evidence that the Middle Easterns are responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Sorry, but the US has sucha awesome military might; can thay detect the flight patterns of the planes involved. I am sorry but I hope the world does not judge by some whimsical evidence. Again; I am sorry but I just don't buy this Laden character exist. Wassalam.

My question is, who ensure us that the person who called is actually Bin Laden? It could have been anyone.
CAIRO - The Arabic news station al-Jazeera has reported that Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has issued a new message calling for the withdrawal of French troops from Afghanistan.
In a report Friday, the station said bin Laden called on French President Nicolas Sarkozy to withdraw its troops from "our countries," adding that that its role would cost the French "inside France and outside."
Extremist groups associated with al-Qaida are holding at least seven French hostages, including five in the Sahara Desert and two in Afghanistan....
