Yes but the US government doesn't want to admit he still alive.

With the recent audio tape they have admitted that he is still around. What we
have to consider is what his next target will be. I think the US is busy trying to detect
him in the same way he attacked at first - planes, BUT I believe he will try something else.
I think the bombing of Austrailian citizens was a suprise, because who would think they would be a target, BUT that shows no one is safe.

Alan Keyes Tells Local CPC Terrorism and Life Issues Have Common Thread

Sarasota, FL -- Drawing a direct line between a strong stance against
terrorism and strong defense of individual human life, two-time
presidential candidate Alan Keyes urged 500 supporters of Manasota Solve
Crisis Pregnancy Center to stay the course Friday.

The Republican spoke at a $75-per-plate benefit dinner in Sarasota to help
raise the remaining funds needed to build a second maternity home for
homeless, young pregnant women. Supporters plan to build it in Bradenton in
2003. The building fund was short $20,000.

"This country is coming to the climax of the greatest moral crisis of its
existence," Keyes said. "The terrorist movement we are fighting against
disregards the worth of innocent human life. . . . For us to be morally
consistent in that fight against terrorism, we ourselves must adopt a
principle of respect for life and reject the idea that it is ever
justified, with malice aforethought, to take the life of another human
being."

To win the war on terrorism, it then becomes essential for Americans to
adhere to the principles of the pro-life movement, Keyes said.

Helen Cadoret, the founder of Solve, was thrilled with Keyes' strong
pro-life message. Cadoret said she started Solve 26 years ago because she
wanted to give young girls an option.

"I started Solve because of the abortion issue," Cadoret said. "I used to
picket abortion clinics, and I saw young girls being pushed into those
clinics and it made me very sad. I decided something must be done."

Since Solve opened its doors in 1976, 500 babies have been born to mothers
temporarily residing at the crisis pregnancy center and more than 10,000
poor mothers in Manatee and Sarasota counties have received formula,
clothes, furniture and help through the organization.

The answer Keyes said to helping teens avoid teen pregnancy is to give them
a firm moral foundation that will help them make wise choices.

The public schools are not capable of providing that education because God
no longer has a place in the classroom, Keyes said in an interview prior to
the dinner.

"We have banished faith and religion from our public schools," Keyes said.
"The idea that you can teach about sexual responsibility apart from moral
responsibility to our creator is to me an absurdity. When they drove out
God, they created an incapacity in the public schools to deal effectively
with the moral challenges that we face."

US blackmailing IRAQ?
Now let's consider something. If one is charged for a crime isn't it true that the evidence has to be presented in order for the accused to be charged? Why is it in the case of Iraq that the US is only 'saying' that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, but not showing the proof of this. This is something about the US I do not understand. When it omes to non citizens all they merely have to do is say you are wrong inorder to take action, BUT if a US citizen were to stump his toe on your fence he could sue for millions?

Do you think war is just at certain times or is it just an excuse to hurt another?

A good example of this... the USAs interest in
waging war on IRAQ. Is it justified to attack a
country that has not 'yet' done a crime? In other
words, can you inprison or shoot somone because he
is in the possession of a gun? Or should you wait
till thecrime is actually committed?

In the case of Iraq, Sadam had already use some of those weapons, that's why they trying to get him because who knows what he will do next. People think that what he's doing is fine, but it's not. Sadam have the people of Iraq in a little crystal ball. They do not really know what's going on out there in the world, they just know what's going on in Iraq and what Sadam is trying to 'sell' them. A journalist from CNN asked Sadam why the people in Iraq do not have Satellite Dishes and he replied 'The people of Iraq don't have a need of it'
and who decides that????/ him?????? he's afraid that his own people can see with their own eyes what's really going on!
Going back to your question, any war is never just...there should not be a 'good' reason for war when thousands of lives are lost every single day.

Sophistication of the Assassin
Well aren't there good enough assassins out there who could just take him out? Why would you want to war against the entire country if it is just one man causing all the trouble? Maybe it is because he has a lot of people thinking like him?

Exactly, you forgot Sadam's son is his right hand? If he dies, his son will take his place and so on. The same applies with Bin Laden, do you think if the guy is dead there will not be more terrorist attacks from Al Qaeda?. This people are very very organized, they perfectly know they are target and they prepare themselves and their people for the worst...
