As you watch the tree lines and the road ahead you see nothing all day save for some deer, rabbits and squirrels. The strong winds make hearing anything very hard. As the day wanes the winds begin to subside making hearing once again seem odd for a few seconds. Not having to shout at one another is nice. The night is cool and nothing apparent is seen. Ryorst does see a couple orc scouts not far from where you have made camp. As soon as they see him they take off west and south.
You all quickly break camp and head west on the path towards the Earls stronghold. As you gather your gear together and head down the path you find that this path has been littered with stones, rocks and caltrops. Making the way hard to navigate the path. Anyone who is fatigued and rolled less than their dexterity will take 1 d4 damage. Those with horses will have to walk their horses to help navigate them through this hazard. Once again if you roll less than your dexterity you lead your horse through caltrops thus causing your horse to be injured and not rideable until it is healed. You can not bring a wagon/carriage through this hazard but you can see a side trail leading into the woods to the north. Do you want to take that trail? IF you check this hazard with the rock, stones, caltrops is about 400 feet long. You can not see the side trail reentering the main road past the hazard.
Vivora and Thorn both notice the woods being very quiet. IT is almost a eerie feeling it is so quiet. As they look around ahead of you about bow distance away a large orc in full plate mail steps out of the trees to where you can see him. Around him are many orcs. He is just stands there but you do not see him on his horse. Also the two others are not by him. Many of the orcs have bows out but not ready. They have yet to say anything.
You all prepare for battle as you approach the waiting orcs. You can see that some of the orcs appear like they want to rush into battle but something keeps them at bay. As you get about half way to where the leader is he ask you to hold your ground. At this statement the orcs along the front raise their bows with arrows nocked but not pulled back. What is your next action. You will see that he wants you to stop about 30 feet from them.
Lead group: The orc leader looks you over and says, "This is not a good day to die for you. I would ask that you go back and leave this area. We will not allow you to go any further to the west."
New group: You head out into the forest that surrounds the village. The day is bright and the woods are filled with animals and sound. You do not see any signs of any recent orc activity. The day passes quickly with nothing to show for it.
