You descend into the darkness following the stairs down. After about 40 steps you come to the bottom of the steps. Ahead you see a corridor extending well beyond the light of the lantern. You do not hear anything ahead. Do you continue?

Game Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

You carefully head down the corridor. It runs straight for 120 feet before you come to a intersection. You can go left, right or straight ahead. Looking each direction you see just corridor running into the darkness beyond the light of your lantern. Listening down each corridor you can hear the low moans of the wind as if moves through the dungeon.

YOu all turn and head down the right hand corridor. After traveling some 50 feet you see a door on each side of the corridor. The corridor continues past the doors.

You walk up to the doors. You try the door on the right and it opens right up. You see before you a room with a chest on the far wall. Do you enter this room or do you check the door across the hall from this room.

Game Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

Avan runs across the room with dreams of coins and treasure in his head. As he gets to the chest it lashes out at him. But misses its target. Avan needs to roll for combat and initiative. Those by the door see the chest lash out at their party member. Those at the door need to roll initiative rolls if they wish to join in the combat. Please provide me with at least three combat and damage rolls.

Avan takes a step back and then moves forward with his weapon striking the check thing hard. His weapon sticks to the chest thing but he is able to rip it free. The chest thing misses Avan on its attack. Avon swings again and his weapon sticks again. Avan needs to roll a DC check to free his weapon You need a 16 or better.

The others join the fray attacking the chest. Oliron swings hard but misses the chest unfazed by the new arrivals it lashes back. It hits Avan for 5 points damage.

For every successful hit 15 or better you all need to roll a DC check of 16 or better or your weapon is stuck to the chest monster. If you fail your check you lose your next combat turn as you make another DC check or draw another weapon. Total damage to the chest so far: 8 points

Avan jumps back and pulls his bow out and starts to fire arrows at the chest. His first arrow sinks in and his third arrow sinks in but the rest of his shots miss as the chest moves about attacking the others.

Aegis hits a couple times before his weapon is held fast. IT takes him two rounds to pull it free. In that time he is hit once from the chest for 5 points damage.

Oliron swings with his weapons striking the chest a couple times before one of his weapons is stuck. It takes him a two rounds to free his weapon and afterwards his last hit finishes the chest monster off.

The monster slumps to the floor unmoving. What do you wish to do now.

Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Play Post Game D&D / Pathfinder Archive - Page 25

Under the mimic you will find a hole. Inside that hole you will find 2,000 gold, 4,000 silver, 3,500 copper, two sword, a dagger and 7 gems. The gem colors are 3 red, 2 blue, one white and one clear. Out in the hallway it is still quiet.

What do you wish to do now.

Those in the village you will see all sorts of people walking in and around the stalls that are set up in the central market as people yell out to them trying to entice people to their goods for sale. Most anything you want can be found in this area.
