Everyone makes it across the bridge with no issues to include the wagon. The bridge is well made and very sturdy. Looking at the hawk you can see it gliding on thermals as it does a slow circle. It has made no indication that it has seen anything but game. The ranger is ahead of you at the top of the rise. He waves that all is clear and then disappears over the rise as he ventures further.
When you finally reach the top of the hill you see the ranger about a 1/4 mile ahead. He has stopped at the side of the road looking at something. He does not seem alarmed but he is clearly waiting for you to catch up with him. The hawk is heading back towards Krusten with a hare.
The ranger shows you a track. "Some one has passed through here recently it looks like just one person possibly a elf. I do not know if friendly or not so we should keep our eyes open. Usually elves travel in packs." He gets back up and continues to head north.
The tracks head into some trees that are east and north of the road. Does Zork continue towards the trees? Will champ or anyone else head that way?
The ranger seeing you heading off the road will head east off the road to meet with you. Suddenly he stops and pulls his bow out knocking an arrow. HE will yell at Zork that there is a person in the trees that is aiming an arrow at Zork.
Champ, Avan and Albrecht all spot the elf in the woods with bow ready aimed at Zork. Krusten is aimed in the general direction but has not spotted him yet. The decision now comes on the elf. Do you with to walk out and greet these strangers or do you wish to fight? Play it out in the leader thread.
The group once again heads north into the more hilly and more forest. A couple days go by with the weather still being on the cool side and a few rain showers through out the days. The morning of the third day since picking up Tilantre you are heading up a tall hill the ranger ahead is at the top of the hill when he suddenly crouches down and motions Zork and Albrecht to get to side of road as to seek cover. The area around is a good mix of trees and tall grass. The road is just a track through both.
Off in the distance but seeming to be moving your direction you all hear a low sounding roar. It sounds big and may be out looking for food. Everyone has heard of dragons and the destruction they can cause. You see the ranger coming towards you all still watching to the north. He is staying in the tree line so he can hide easy. When he gets close to Zork he tells him to go back and get the wagon off the road and hidden it is not coming this way fast but it is headed this way. When asked he will tell you it is a dragon.
