As Lionel approaches the farmer the farmer will turn to him. At first the farmer draws a long dagger but seeing that Lionel is human he will put the dagger away. The farmer will lean on his hoe an wait for Lionel to get within ear shot.

The farmer is pretty much out here on his own and he is wary of Orcs that seem to raid the local farmsteads of food. He has been hit twice in the past few weeks. His food stores are very low so He can not help your cause even though he would like to. He can offer you a place to rest if you desire it.

The orcs he has seen have been in parties varying in size from a half dozen to more than a dozen. They are not regular so he can not tell you the safest route to take.

He will tell you the fence on the west side of his lot is in need of serious repair. The orcs that came in last time did a real number on it. HE has no love for orcs at all. He will wish you good luck on your quest to becoming more financially sound.

You find the west fence to be a basic split rail fence. Much of it has been destroyed with the rails being broken and many missing. The fence is a simple fence and it needs no nails or screws to hold it in place. You can see that you will have to fell a number of trees to replace the posts and the rails. IT looks like a good week worth of work. The farmer shows you where the tools he has are stored at in his small shed. HE has a couple of crude saw horses that you can use.

He will show you where you can stack the extra wood so it can be chopped up for fire wood.

I need all to roll a d 6 and post what your results are. This is for seeing something so add in your modifiers. Remember hearing is difficult but you if you want to roll for hearing you can with a modifier of -5.

The farmer gladly will share in the food you have to offer him. While he is a little wary of the half breeds he is happy that you are working on his fence. He will tell you that he would have done it himself with his sons but his wife has taken them to her sisters in the village where they will be safer and not have to worry as much about getting killed by Orcs. He is just trying to get his crops planted for the growing season as best as he can.

It is about mid day of the second day when you notice a couple orcs watching you from the forest. As soon as they are noticed they turn and head deeper into the forest.

This day the wind has diminished some so your chance of hearing something is down to a -2.

You all grab your packs and weapons as you take chase upon the two orcs. The two see you coming and make haste farther into the forest leading you south and west. The two orcs seeing that your closing split apart. One heads due west while the other stops turns with bow in hand and fires a arrow at the group. I rolled a 3 and a 5 so he missed badly.

What does the group want to do now?

The group splits up with the Rogue and the two rangers still going after the orc that is headed west. The others pull up to face the orc with the bow. He fires two more times I rolled a 11 and a 15. Krusten finds a arrow in the tree right in front of her. Those who are with the orc needs to make combat rolls with a d20 and let me know what they are going to use for combat.

Those who are chasing the other orc need to roll a d12 and post the results.

Rather off topic, but...
Yes a person shooting a bow gets two attacks per round.

The orc screams in pain as it is hit with a orb of acid doing 2 points of damage to it. The two fighters are now advancing upon the orc as it drops its bow and pulls out a long sword. Lionel can only cast one summon monster per melee round, that = one hawk per melee round. According to lionels roll his hawk missed.

The other orc is hit by Jenrek and they both go down together in a tumble. Both Jenrek and the orc take 1 point of damage from the fall and tumble. Skedvick and Namdar arrive shortly after they fall.

Say what you are going to do now.

The Orc responds to Skedvick "I would rather die you half breed scum" With that he punchs Jenrek in the gut hard enough to free himself and rise to his feet. Jenrek takes 3 points of damage from a blunt blow. The Orc pulls its long sword and advances on Skedvick "shall we dance you half breed?"

Note: Skedvick's attempt to hit missed

The other Orc faces off with Oliron and Beast. He makes a feint towards Beast causing Beast to miss badly and swings his long sword at Oliron missing badly. Rolled a 3 +4 so only 7.

It is the parties turn to attack or try to subdue. IF you attack the orcs for combat or subduing I need combat rolls. If you wish to flee let me know. As far as spells for the Sorcerers They get a base 5 zero level spells and 3 first level spells + any bonuses for high Charisma

Beast swings but his attack is blocked by the Orc. Oliron attacks with the flat of his blade to the side of the orcs head. THe Orc was stepping to that side and you hear the snap of his neck. The orc slumps to the ground lifeless. This group is able to search the Orc, or see if you can find the others of the group.

Jenrek and Namdar are both able to slip away as the orc and Skedvick battle on neither one getting an opening to hit the other. Namdar is able to sneak up behind the orc. I will need a attack roll from Skedvick and Namdar with any other option you want to try.

Rather off topic, but...
Looking at all the posts in the party thread it is easy to get lost on who is doing what. This is why I wanted the party leader post. IT is much easier to get the story of all one is doing in one location and one post. The game is smoother this way in my opinion. Remember only one attack per person unless using a bow. Bows get two attacks per round unless otherwise noted.
