Query: are all enemy combatants ahead and around the corner? Or are the archers ahead and the rest behind our group?

Right, next queries
-Distance between Bastion and the archers?
-Distance between Bastion and the group coming from behind, also between that group and the readgard?
-Will the terrain allow for B to charge past his compatriots on his horse at the group coming from behind?

The archers are about 40 feet in front of Bastion and the scout at different levels two are up high and two more at a mid level. The ones coming up from behind are about 70 feet from the rear guard. Yes Bastion can turn and charge the group coming in from the rear but it will be a round to charge.

A charge already is a full round action. My horse can cover 100' in said charge. Did you mean I can pull off the attack, or is there some complication?

The complication is you will be going back through your companions to get the the those coming towards the back. Thus you can not get a full charge unless you want to potentially injure one of your friends.

Somehow missed that detail. In that case I'll urge our scout to back off around the corner and leave the archers with no targets for a round or two.

In regards to the possibility of charging the rear group instead, how likely would Bastion judge the odds of trampling a companion?

P.S. Critical hit on Round 2 attack, rolling extra damage here (X3).

You will have to slow down to get past your companions as the area you are in is not very wide thus a very short charge to meet with them.
