If the rolls did not show then try again by rerolling and see if they come up correctly this time. The more you use it the easier it gets. Do not worry you are not the first to have learning issues with the dice.

Type: Make sure you selected the correct type of dice
Bonus: make sure you have added you bonus here

Amt.: make sure this says X2, X3, X4, X5 or X6 unless you want default of X1 this is the most important part and even I goof up as does others on this at times. The more you use it the easier it gets.

For one thing, there is no defense roll.

In order to roll multiple times, you need to set the last entry of a row to something other than one.

The other thing you need to roll right now is damage, which is not a d20.

You can try something like that but I would not recommend doing something like that when you are still a first level character.
