State Of A Military

Do you believe that the state of a country's military represents the state of the country?

If our military is what says how well we are doing as a country then why is it that people say that our children are our future? If we lose our military we make a new one with the kids that are born later but if we lose all the youth then we are going to die as a country. Without a military we get taken over and oppressed until we rise and strick back but with out the youth of tomorrow then we can't wait and strick later because all we will have to strick back with is a bunch of old people.
