:spock: This is strange to me, I guess mostly because I see beauty in the photos I put up. If the thread did start to go negatively then I would stop it, most people vote positively hence it is here. This question was asked before, I cannot remeber my exact reply but here are some points...

Now I can fully agree if I took a member's photo and did it without permission. That would be bad. However, since these kinds of polls make some feel uncomfortable I will start posting other kinds.
1. Each time we look at someone there is an automatic judgement about a person's comeliness, even if we do not admit it.
2. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but basically certain porportionate mathematical equations decides what looks good and what does not.
3. I got permission from the photographer to use the photo, the model did the shoot with the idea that her photo would be scrutinized.
4. There are beauty pageants, contests, ratings, etc, if the contestants lose does that mean they are ugly? No! Should they feel ugly? No!
5. This is all good fun and is not meant to hurt or injure anyone.
