I have heard rumors of the possibility of them making The Hobbit into a movie. But I haven't been able to confirm that as of yet. I'm still looking into it. wink.gif

yeah, they're having contracting issues, or so i heard. One company, a British one, wants to have the rights for the movie because all of their actors are in it, where as another, New Zealand company wants it because it's most likely going to be filmed there. That's the only "gossip" i've heard on the subject so far. wink.gif

I still haven't seen it yet. The buzz is still pretty big here where I live and I think I would definitely be better off waiting for it to come out on DVD instead of fighting with the crowds. Good luck to you and your friend on seeing it that many times. I know I am very eager to see it myself.

yeah... we have crowd issues here too, but its not like my friends and I care about that. Everyone but me got to go to the midnight (more like 11:57) showing, which is completely unfair! Of course I went later that day... biggrin.gif

So I take it there was a huge crowd there for the midnight showing? A friend of mine went to the midnight showing of it here and he said that he stood in line for 6 hours to make sure he was going to be up close to the front of the line to get a ticket to check it out. Which he was one of the lucky ones that did get in, but he said the crowd was just completely unbelieveable and he said that some even got rowdy and rude because they couldn't get in to see it.
