What is your strategy for confronting the fantasy creature Dryad in Dungeons & Dragons?

They have some really nasty spell like abilities, you have to see them all layed out to understand the full scope of what your facing. Suffice it to say if you have a weak will or no protection against charms, your in trouble. Other than that they are not all that tough.

There is a good reason I like to play half elves. Dryads have a harder time charming them so it is easier to see through their attempts. Once you see through their attempts to charm you can usually kill them with two or three well placed arrows.

Yes I was thinking of the elf race when posting this. The immunity to charm and sleep they have is really an awesome ability. It saves the day more than most would think.
