What is your review for the movie: "Sherlock Holmes"?

I was apprehensive about seeing the movie Sherlock Holmes as I'm not a fan of the period, the theme or even the characters. I did decide to give it a watch expecting to be entertained based on the trailer, and I have to admit that I was. From beginning to end there is lots to keep you interested in the adventures of Holmes and Watson. There are no doldrums here as action mixed with comedy and mystery are sure to equal a good time. Judging by the ending I will say that you will soon see a Sherlock Holmes part two very soon.

I found the movie to be interesting but I think they should have rethought the main character as he did not play a genius very well. Maybe the director can hire a genius to help the main character do a better job.

What did you feel was missing from Robert Downey Jr's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes that made him an unfit genius?

I thought it was pretty good but I bet the Brits aren't going to like an American portraying their hero. I didn't care much for Rachel McAdams there either I thought they could use someone else for that role.
