Halfling

There are a lot of halflings in the AD&D world that are regular PCs or NPCs and thus you you do not run across them as a foe very often unless your running a evil campaign.

Halfling Reviews RPG & Card Board

I like to use halflings as nomads or traveling tribes from time to time. Kind of like the lord of the flies type of a thing. They are about the same in strength as goblins, yet crafty like kobolds. Also they can play many different classes, this allows them to work much better as a team. They make good merchants too, traveling or otherwise.

If I had to fight them I would try and use their small size against them. Other than that standard tactics are good. I keep thinking of rolling a large tree trunk down a hill towards them. I imagine that would be a devastating tactic.

Halfling

I'm always surprised when someone chooses to play as a halfling its such a disadvantage to me. I guess there are some advantages but I'd just be uncomfortable managing a halfling.
