Igor is a dark comedy animation. I don't know what the rating is but you may wish to preview before you let your children watch it as there are some scary scenes. I was surprised about the amount oif adult humor as well - why can't they seem to just keep it out? The story has many twists, if you like dark Gothic like tales then this will appeal to you.
