Peter Reyes ACP - Kicked Off Plane
According to the Express, Mr. Reyes refused to follow the instructions of flight attendants who asked him in several occasions to turn off his cel phone during a flight and he refused! He answered his phone on several occasions and even got angry and started talking loudly stating that he was being picked because he was Black.
If the report is true (And according to the Express they are merely writing what the report said) then how can this man be an Assistant Commissioner of Police? Source 1

ACP Peter Reyes is in more hot water after an Assemblyman from Tobago came forward with what he witnessed on the plane. According to the Assemblyman, in a TV6 interview, ACP Reyes was not co-operating with the airline stewards who asked him to turn off his phone and that he claimed he was on an important phone call.

How could he have been posted to Tobago when he thought getting a fridge was more important than the safety of passengers?

ACP Peter Reyes has been moved from Tobago as was expected. If he wasn't there would have been a big question mark about the standards in the the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service. They are still investigating ACP Peter Reyes so no conclusion has been reached about disciplinary action.
