When it appears no one is paying attention. Doro lo tries to hide and check out the building where the groaning was coming from, he tries to avoid any of the guards.

Doro lo sneaks around and manages to find a loose board in the back. He is able to pry it open just slightly with his dagger and peeks inside. Doro lo sees a man shackled by his arms and legs struggling to get free. The man is moaning strangely, almost inhumanly. Other objects in the room are wooden crates, not much else.

Is Tesk actually casting the spell?

Aleric notices Doro lo peering into the building emanating the mysterious sounds and nonchalantly (so as not to attract attention) moves into a defensible position as a lookout where he can cover both the sorcerer and the halfling.

The guards notice Aleric's motions as something to pay attention to and are eyeing him. Doro lo is still not noticed and he can see the figure still.

If there are not event changing actions soon I will wipe the party (meaning kill everyone).

A bright flash appears once again carting away Aleric to a distant land. There he finds new adventure and manages to make a name for himself.

Eventually he would find himself standing before the demon responsible for the foul murder of his family. With "Hope's Seed" (the sword he forged of raw orichalcum) he sacrificed his life to end the tyranny of the astral demon once and for all.

Don't worry about it. I saved you the trouble. I prefer not to have my character threatened for following a lead that YOU YOURSELF present.

Doro lo circles around, (so it dose not look like he came from the building) and approaches the guard and asks what that horrid sound is.

Well I wasn't going to kill you that way, because you followed a lead. I was going to wipe out the party because it was, and is, rather inactive. Not to offend but to me it isn't worth my time to run the game if players don't post anything for almost a week.

The guard looks you over and says nothing. After a few moments he looks at you again, " You still here? Tis nuthin' now get away from here and stop pokin' around!"
