Gone Girl (Hover)
On the occasion of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne reports that his wife, Amy, has gone missing. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick's portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?
Why I was not very impressed by the movie like everyone else did.
Don't take me wrong. The acting was top-notch but a big part of the plot in my opinion was far-fetched, unconvincing, implausible and just plain unrealistic. I knew all along I was just watching nothing more than a film. Having said that, by the very end of the movie the open ending, creates the possibility of the same exact scenario the main character is accused of committing.
