We have found it! It's called... 'High Need!'

'High Need'

We have always wondered why Felipe is so hyper. Recently we found the answer... 'High Need'.

It describes children that are very sensitive and always in need of their parents attention. It is a new description from a doctor expert in the field... (maybe LDS_forever will give some more detail later?)

Any parents out there have children with this? What do you do to help your child be calm?

Child:  :crybaby

Parent: Want a sweet?  :-/

Child:  :crybaby

Parent: Want me to put on the cartoons?  :-[

Child:   :sc I don't like the cartoons

Parent:   :-/ Want to relax and read a story?

Child:   :fury:

Parent: Ok I am going to the  :ch

There is several web sites that speak about 'High Need Children', are basically those children who can never relax, they don't sleep well, they don't eat well, they're over dependant on their parents and they have a hard time learning how to speak. In the web site of Dr. Sears https://www.askdrsears.com there is information available and also you can purchase a book that speaks about it.
