Owls have some cool stats. Owls can attack you silently and they like cannot be hit easily so watch out from above!

They do have a great sneak attack but I don't see Owls as attacking humans, mostly rodents and stuff so if you have a familiar that's small watch out.

That's true but then again an owl can be the familiar of someone else so if the owl attacks you maybe its like being told to do that.
