Teenage mums : Accepted or ...Not?

I know a few teenage mums and wondered what your views are on this subject?. One is now a devoted Christian and had a baby at the age of 13. Will she go to Heaven?. She had never heard of God before she had the baby. What can I say to her to assure her she will go to Heaven? Like always i know crap!! ;D

Please give me your views on this.

Sorry, I do not understand the question. You are asking if she will go to heaven because she had a baby at 13 or because she had the baby outside of mariage? In either case, that is not a determining factor as to if she gets into heaven or not. Getting there is a life long process. Much more than one mishap will determine this. Having the baby was no sin at all. Sexual relations outside of marriage is where the sin lies and the Lord has promised that there is a forgiveness of sins to the person that repents. Always rest assured that so long as you forsake the sin and do good, that you can receive forgiveness.

YEAH THAT WAS THE MAIN PART OF MY QUESTION, AND I KNOW THAT THE BEST WAY TO ASSURE ANYONE IS TO ACCEPT GOD INTO YOUR HEART AND LIFE, ASK FOR FORGIVNESS, THATS WHY CHRIST DIED, FOR OUR SINS. AND NOT EVERYONE WILL BE ACCEPTED INTO HEAVEN. BUT MY FRIEND IS MAKING IT SOUNDS LIKE SHE WILL DEFINATELY MAKE THE CUT AND GO TO HELL  :-/

i KNOW SHE IS WRONG AND I CAN CHANGE THAT OR AT LEAST TRY , THATS WHY I POSTED THE QUESTION.....

It is good that you are a friend to her, help her to find solace and take away those thoughts from her mind, otherwise if she takes them on continually it will lead to depression and other sad events.

I hope you succeed in helping her feel loved.

Xtrasweetgirl, your friend maybe upset because of what happened to her, she may be very depressed for the fact that she's a mom and alone. But please, tell her that God loves each one of us, despites of our mistakes. He loves us deeply, if we repent of our sins we will have the opportunity to live with him forever. Tell her that that's the main reason Christ died for us, so we can have the opportunity to repent and go back to the right path. Each one of the persons living on this Earth are sinners, each one of us must repent every day of the things we do wrong. As JB mentioned, this is a lifetime process but I want you to tell her for me that God is a merciful God and understand ALL things, even things we cannot fully comprehend. He loves us so much to the point of giving his only begotten son to die for us. Ask her if she can imagine to sacrifice her son for the humanity sake? That's such a great love. All that she needs to do is be there for her new responsibility, take care, nurture and love that child that God has given to her. Be an example for her child and try not to commit the same mistakes. And pray, pray and pray, talk to Heavenly Father and express how she feels. Tell her that everything wil be allright and be there for her. You're such a caring girl xtra, I'm very proud of you...smile.gif

Although your friend made a mistake at such a young age as long as she repents she is forgiven and a baby is such a blessing and being a mother is divine.  A divine calling given to women so we can raise good and happy children.   Your friend is very special  to be a mother now.  God is counting on her to care for that little child. Tell her to take great care of her little one, he or she is more special than she can imagine.
