When I was little, I wanted to be an inventor or a scientist. I think that's before I knew that science included a lot of math. By grade 6, I thought I wanted to perform, possibly on Broadway or as a concert pianist. I also wanted to be a writer. In High School, I combined those two ambitions and wanted to write for Broadway. Seeing how sleazy Broadway has become, I have since decided that they would be very uninterested in my work, and teaching is my current passion. However, I also want to be an author, a composer, a studio musician (singing), a record producer, a web designer, an entrepeneur, and an activist/humanitarian. The more I grow up, the less I know where I'll end up.
These look really wacky to list, and honest I really am sane!
When I was around 7 I wanted to be a nun (but was the wrong religion)
Around 11 I decided I wanted to foster children and then adopt 6 (have fostered over 70 children and adopted 2)
Around 13-15 (wait for it ) funeral director!
but at the time women were not allowed to do this as the coffins/caskets were deemed too heavy for women to carry.
I ended up caring for the elderly, then later on and now as a nanny.
age 38- want to be a florist! sounds crazy I know, but I'm going to go on a short taster course next year to see whether I like it, after all, I may be absolutely rubbish at it but I believe you've got to at least give it a try before you close the doors on your dreams!
That's definitely a wide variety of fields but I like your last choice, a scientist, you can make new discoveries or help people further in their development.
