I was watching the case of Dan Hiers on AMW, more details here: Source 5 This is further proof that you just cannot trust anyone with your children! While being a cop he was in a karate class, saw a little girl, befriended her and her mother. Asked them to move in while he was married. He then abused the little girl for two years. After the mother of the little girl found out she reported it to the police. Dan then shot his wife and went on the run. You can see below he looks like a 'friendly' all American guy, yet he is as dark as the abyss.

He swore he would never go to prison so imagine. I just checked the US marshal web site and he is one of the top 15 fugitives.

Comments: No, it isn't that you can't trust anyone with your children. But when a supposedly single grown man shows supreme interest in a 9 year old girl and no interest in her single mother, that is blatant. Come on now, where is the basic common sense by the mother?

They featured this case again in America Most Wanted. I have the impression he is out of the US by now, probably in Mexico since he speaks Spanish. What a piece of trash!
