The Spirit Of Prediction / Paranormal - Page 2
The gift of prophecy and the gift of healing. For us Christians may not be considered "paranormal" (although some may do) but seeing someone being healed of a incurable disease or someone prophesying the destruction of a particular place (and may happens) are things the world may consider paranormal. Also personally (not LDS belief) I believe there are people who may be able to tell about your past/future. I have seen it.

I have no doubt that Jesus apostles had the genuine gifts of healing an prophesy, but be for warned that Jesus also cautioned that there would be those that claimed such wonderful works but did not have his favor.

You might find this Bible account interesting, it shows that having a presumptuous attitude about these gifts can be a dangerous thing.
