Soulman makes fun of Christianity?

Do you feel that the TV sitcom called, "Soulman" makes fun of Christianity by portraying a minister who has ecentric views on life, gets into bar fights and makes comedy out of praying to God?

Christianity fun Soulman

Hmmm not really. First of all, it's a comedy show. Second, I think they're trying to portrait a single father of 4 children, being a minister and a man also and the struggles he gets into trying to do all these things. Sometimes it seems like he mixed up all of them together. I think sometimes the shows overdo it, but I don't think there is bad intention intented. They just want to portrait him as a non-conventional minister.

Besides the road to hell being paved with good intentions I beliveve that there are things you can make light of and other you should not.

I cannot see anything in Christ's atonement to be laughable. In fact, we should quiver to know that we, as unworthy as we are, could be looked on in mercy by God himself.

When the producers decide to make fun of actual doctrinal points I think that is taking it too far. Afterall, what are they doing it for... 'Money'.

Can you imagine if this comedy was about the Prophet Mohammed? Wow, that show would be burnt. For too long the world makes fun of the Saviour.
