Mother Says She Slapped Baby On Flight Over Kick
I understand the right of parents to discipline their own kids but this story has many red flags, one the age of the baby. Why would any parent slap a baby on their face? And why the baby had a black eye? I hope social services is checking on this case closely....

A Southwest Airlines flight attendant removed the child from the mother during the flight after she saw the mother slap her and passengers complained.

Kick Flight Baby Slapped She Mother
I never struck my daughters at the age of 13 months at all. A child that little is learning its new boundaries and a small kick should not phase a parent. I have not seen a small child who could kick very hard. After all they are just learning to walk. I think the mother went way over board.

I agree KNtoran, it sounds like the parent really over reacted!
I'm not saying that the baby wasn't being a right handful, but does that really justify a slap to the face?.. I don't think so.

If the baby already had a black eye I bet the passengers were already suspicious so when they saw her slap the baby that sprung all the red flags right there. I would of probably done the same thing.
