I'm interested to see how all of this pans out. Will the Tea Party have a significant showing in the Senate and break the two party deadlock?

The Republicans will take control of the House that is for sure. Most of America has woken up to the direction we are heading, thank goodness.

Dems Still In Power

Democrats retain control of the U.S. Senate despite Republican gains, CNN projects.

Democrats lost U.S. Senate seats in at least five states on Tuesday, but were guaranteed to keep their majority thanks to wins in California and West Virginia.

Republicans scored big victories, taking Senate seats from Democrats in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arkansas, North Dakota and Indiana. The net gain of 10 they needed for control of the chamber, however, eluded them. Ref. USAToday

Republicans Take The House

Republicans have seized control of the House for the first time since 2006, riding a wave of voter discontent and economic woes to directly challenge the president's agenda.

The GOP captured 220 seats and were leading in 20 other races. Only 218 seats are needed for control of the House. Ref. USAToday

I kind of thought the elections would have gone the way it did. Pres. Obama isn't too popular right now and people are very unhappy after losing their homes, unemployed, etc.

Gloat fest 2010

For one day only, Glenn & Co put all common decency aside and have a good hearty laugh at the expense of the Democrats who were absolutely thrashed in the mid-term elections last night. The news wasn't perfect, of course - Barney Frank and Dick Blumenthal won their races. But pretty much everything else was great and the gloat fest kicks into high gear on radio today. Ref. Source 6
