Dems Still In Power
Democrats retain control of the U.S. Senate despite Republican gains, CNN projects.
Republicans Take The House
Republicans have seized control of the House for the first time since 2006, riding a wave of voter discontent and economic woes to directly challenge the president's agenda.
The GOP captured 220 seats and were leading in 20 other races. Only 218 seats are needed for control of the House. Ref. USAToday
I kind of thought the elections would have gone the way it did. Pres. Obama isn't too popular right now and people are very unhappy after losing their homes, unemployed, etc.

Gloat fest 2010

The news wasn't perfect, of course - Barney Frank and Dick Blumenthal won their races. But pretty much everything else was great and the gloat fest kicks into high gear on radio today. Ref. Source 6
