Missionary Dies At MTC

What is amazing about this is the response from the parents:

From LDS News:

MISSIONARY DIES AT MTC

Elder Joshua Neal Englehart collapsed at the Missionary Training Center
while playing basketball Wednesday afternoon and was pronounced dead
approximately two hours later. Englehart's parents, who are not members of
the Church, said they had never seen him happier than he was as a
missionary. J. Daniel Hastings, president of the Las Vegas Paradise Stake,
said: "We went to the Englehart home and the parents said, 'We want you to
know that we support our son. He was right where he wanted to be.' The
father then said, 'I know one thing--he's up there right now running that
celestial kingdom of yours.'"

MTC Dies Missionary

Since I believe no one dies before their time when they are doing what the Lord wants of them and while they are living righteously, I believe this was the plan for this young man's life. What a terrible thing for a family to lose a child at all, but especially worse, I think when they have left home to serve the Lord. You want to think they are protected. They are, but that doesn't mean the Lord won't take them "home" if it is time.

I, too, am very impressed with the reaction of his non-member family.
