Basically, this is a catch-all, a statement of how we should be living our lives and what we should be seeking after. Nothing really doctrinal here.
And, this is the last Article of Faith.

This truly explains why I have never met a Mormon I didn't like! 
I have two co-workers that are LDS members and they are the nicest people I know. They would give me the shirt off their backs! The interesting thing is that it is commonly said that the reason they do this is because of the cult mentality of the LDS church. However, I argue that something that promotes such treatment of others should not be looked upon as bad or cult like. Other religions seem to find solace in the fact that they can be rude and belligerent if its for the right cause. But I must admit that I have never met and LDS member that behaves that way, they are always upstanding individuals within the community and with who ever they meet. In fact, sometimes they are so nices its irritating, but thats the problem of the other person. I would rather have someone so nice and considerate than someone that behaves in the opposite manner.

Well, there are plenty of old curmudgeons among us too! But, you are not going to see any Mormon missionaries standing on a street corner screaming at people that they are going to hell.
Anyway, for the most part, we are just like anyone else. Some of us are grumpy all the time, some are depressed, some are too happy or giggly. Some are very shallow, others are very deep.
However, we do have a written ideal within the 13th Article of Faith.
