I didn't understand this fight much. All I can say was Velasquez possibly hit Lesnar hard enough at some point that it took all out of him. Lesnar also looked noticeably out of shape and breathed heavily and it was not even the first half of the first round. I am surprised by it all to be honest.

I agree with you. Velasquez is either quite a talented striker to deliver technically accurate blows or Lesnar just was not ready for that night with his opponent. I could not help but notice how incredibly small Lesnar's legs are as compared to his humongous upper body.
