Thread Specific Themes

Thanks to BHRA for adding the top header info script. This script allows us to make thread subjects have specific themes. For instance you can see at the top of each page in this thread certain text, info, etc not displayed on other threads.

Search Update

Thanks to BHRA again for the search update script which enabled a log to be kept on the top searches and last 10 searches. The results can be seen at the bottom of the search page. We may make this an admin can see only feature, but we are not sure yet.

New Stats on Forum

We added a revision of how the forum stats are shown on the board index. You will notice this as you enter the home page and look right under the calendar information.

Massive Deletion

Many did not think we were serious, but we did it. Members with inactive accounts over 45 days were deleted, it does not matter if you only have 1 post or 500 posts, your account is always in jepordy if you do not keep it active. Unlike other forums we do not beg for numbers but to have quality posters who are really interested in building the community and not just taking up bandwidth and hosting space. Hopefully, those that remain now will be the next generation of consistant posters.

Yes, we do understand that some want to just look, or 'keep in touch' and that is fine, but at least come and post a message within a 45 day period so we know you are still around. That is only 8 times in a year.

To post or not to post? Some new members have struggled with posting. They wonder what to post about and what to say, but once they get the hang of it they are addicted. In fact they keep coming to check for new messages two or three times a day. What causes that? Simple, find a topic that you like, read it, share your thoughts and feelings, look for a reply from someone else and see what you have in common. You might be surprised to learn that someone thinks just like you! That is how frienships are built - common interests. The nice thing about posting too is everyone gets to know you, your charisma goes up (if you are a positive influence) and people begin to feel that they 'know' you in some small way. It reaches the point that they start asking... 'Where is ......, I did not see her today', or 'How are you coping with that new job?'

Come post - until you try, you will never know

You can change this via your profile under 'preferences', click 'SAVE' and then the forum will load with a brand new theme. Have fun!
