News - Raffle System
In the past the raffle system has done well in giving some of you some extra cash, but for others that had excessive amounts of FP it has actually led to a loss. We thought about fixing that and then changed our minds an decided to keep it as it is... why? Well, why not keep it as a feature for users that have no FP and need some help. Thus, now in effect users should only use the jackpot if they are to get MORE than they currently have. Those of you using this system BEFORE June 10th, 2004 and loss FP please do contact the administrator about it and he will reimburse the exact amount you lost. Thanks.

Post IDs

Some discussions can get quite lengthy. Rather than just try and guess which page a particular message is within a thread you can link to it! The link of each message will be: 'Post ID: number' copy that link and place it anywhere you want to refer to that exact message!

Note: For those of you who edit your messages - remember to take out the redirect part so it does not confuse the script (only when editing your post).

New Field

A new field has been added to everyone's profile --> 'How Found?' . It lets us know how you found this site so that we can better focus on those areas where traffic is generated. If you find that the options listed does not include how you found the site then please contact us via the contact page and we will be sure to enter it. Now please, when you have a minute update your profile and let us know how you found this site. Thanks.

Critical Updates

Please take note of the following changes:

Recently we notice an upsurge in bandwidth usage.
To cut this down we installed scripts to stop users
from linking to our images on external web sites.

We deleted 265 members that were just peeping and
not posting. We are not into numbers and users that
just burn bandwidth without contributing to the
intellectual growth of the community.

We also changed the following facilities to Premium
Member features: Raffle, Sports Icons, Uploading
Pictures to the Gallery

The Red Skin had the following changed: No more drop
down menu and other non-essential tables were removed.
Removed the emphasis on the chat room. Removed some
big banners from the main index. Love & Life Bytes and
Member Wars can now be accessed via Future Earth.

The Winter Skin changes are: removal of drop down menu,
Removed non-essential tables, made header more compact,
and removed chat emphasis.

The Dark Matrix and Dial-Up skins remain unchanged.

Before you would see the first three pages of a topic like so:

However, with our latest edit you will see it like this:

This will help you find the pages just before the last so you can catch up with the conversation.

1. Increased participation rate multiplier so everyone's activity level should be at least 6% more than before. You have no excuse to keep up your activity rating now.

2. Newbies only make an Intro post in ONE place --> Welcome board. They can then be directed to the appropriate forum based on their reason for joining.

3. The T&T SIngles section was closed and the related posts deleted because those who joined did not get the point of the forum. They will be directed to our web development section if they wish to put up a profile.

4. LDS Singles has merged with the RM & LDS News board.

5. The extra boards that supported the teen section have been deleted and merged with the ONE teen board. We decided to leave the Teen board in the hope that there are mature teens that would like to have their own section.

6. Posts were recounted so you may notice a difference in your current post count.

New Profile Field

There is a new field available to members called, 'Politics' or 'Political Alignment', depending on which Skin you are using. This field allows you to express your views more to the community. It is important to keep in mind that not every party is mentioned, indeed, this is more about view than party. If there is a specific 'ian' or 'ist' that needs to be mentioned please send it via Email and I will add it if your argument for its' inclusion is good.
