[Medieval] Camp III - Page 12

Lucia struggles to keep the horse still, while at the same time moving from one side of the horse to the other, trying to keep herself from standing still and becoming a target.  Lucia is trying to look around and keep her eyes open for anything out of the ordinary.  Her mind begins to race and one thought comes to her mind.  'If Zenobia comes to help me with the horse, who is guarding Mystic?' Lucia thinks to herself.  She looks to Zenobia and says, 'What about Mystic?  Should you leave our magician unprotected?'

III Camp Medieval

Zenobia says 'Quickly, tell me, can you handle the horse alone?'

Zenobia knows Mystic is unprotected but she has the grappling hook on the wagon, the only way they can climb that mountain!


She then says again to Lemina 'Tell me, quick'

Zenobia then screams to Mystic and says 'Climb down the mountain and get ready your sword in hand'.

Lucia looks at the horse and then at Zenobia and says, 'I believe that I can handle the horse.  Let me see if the horse chain will be long enough for me to quickly search for the grappling hook.  If the horse chain is long enough, I might be able to toss the grappling hook to you, Zenobia.'

A quick question, is the horse chain long enough for Lucia to keep ahold of it and quickly search for the grappling hook in the wagon?

I also forgot to add, that Lucia is speaking soothing to the horse to get the horse to calm down and be still.

'Crap, crap, CRAP!'  Lucia says frustrated.  'Figures the horse chain wouldn't be long enough.  I can see the grappling hook plain as day.  Was that someone cackling?  Where is it coming from?  Zenobia, do you think that if I let go of the horse chain long enough to get the grappling hook, that the horse would stay still a moment or two?  Also, I know it's a big risk, but I am going to have to stand in plain site for the attacker to see me.  But it will only be for a moment.  It will be difficult for the attacker to get a good enough fix on me, if I move swiftly.  I know exactly where I am reaching into the wagon for the grappling hook.  Once I get the grappling hook and rope in hand, I will then grab the horse chain and cover myself again.  Or does this seem to be too much?'

Zenobia looks at Lucia and says 'Hmmm...that seems like a big risk taking in consideration we don't know where the enemy is exactly located and we don't know how many of them are out there, by the other side, I don't see any other options, you want to take the risk?'

Lucia looks to Zenobia and says, 'Hmmm, you might be right.  How much further through the moutain trail do we have before we get out of the mountains?  If it's not too much further, couldn't we just try to use the wagon as some sort of barrier as we try to make our way out of these mountains?  That way, we could have a better advantage point for a fight away from the mountains.  But if you still want to climb up the mountain, I am willing to take the risk to get the grappling hook and rope.  I might be able to get it without getting hurt.'
